The Grenette DIPA is the muscular big brother of the classic Grenette. The one that arrives at the party on a motorcycle and turns heads. Where its little sister plays the sweet card with its 16 IBUs, the DIPA throws 80 IBUs in your face . It's our brewing Jekyll and Hyde.

We took the "patio beer" concept and ran it through a particle accelerator. The result? A Double IPA with an 8% ABV that sends you into another flavor dimension. Mosaïc hops perform solo, displaying their tropical arsenal like a peacock showing off. Mango, passion fruit, citrus—it's Copacabana in your glass, but with a view of Lake Geneva.

This DIPA was our way of showing that we could do something big while remaining true to the Grenette spirit. A beer that knocks you to the ground while maintaining that characteristic freshness. The kind of brew that transforms a quiet evening into a hoppy adventure.

The story

When La Grenette asked us for an XXL version of their house lager, we rubbed our hands in glee. It was the perfect opportunity to let loose and create a kick-ass DIPA. The brief was simple: retain the spirit of the place while offering something for thrill-seekers.

The choice of Mosaïc as a single hop was not insignificant. We wanted a clear, identifiable, memorable aromatic signature. No complex blend, just the purity of a star hop rolling out its tropical red carpet. A minimalist approach in execution, maximalist in the result.
