Birth in the MAD cellar
End of 2013
It all began in a basement in the Flon district of Lausanne. Three childhood friends quit their jobs to embark on a brewing adventure. A 60L tank, an offbeat, Prohibition-style atmosphere, just beneath the clubbing nights of MAD: La Nébuleuse took flight. A madness? Perhaps. But above all, the desire to create something different in the Swiss brewing landscape.
First brewing in Villars-Sainte-Croix
Early 2014
The first turning point in our history: the move to Villars-Sainte-Croix. Goodbye to the bass of the MAD, hello to the calm of the Vaud countryside! This is where Stirling, our first creation, was born. This gluten-free Pale Ale, which has become emblematic of our expertise, is still brewed today with the same high standards. Proof that some crazy ideas are made to last.
Installation in Renens
Early 2015
The adventure is expanding with the move to Renens. A brand-new brewing system, a team of seven enthusiasts, and an unwavering philosophy: creating innovative, 100% Swiss-made craft beers. The brewery explores new taste boundaries while remaining firmly rooted in the Vaud region. Enough to delight the taste buds of craft beer lovers.
Expansion at Closel
Early 2018
The enthusiasm for our beers pushes us to dream bigger. We're heading to Chemin du Closel 1 in Renens, to premises that match our ambitions. This expansion allows us to reach a brewing capacity of 3,000,000 liters per year. The small Flon brewery has become one of the largest craft breweries in French-speaking Switzerland, without losing any of its creative DNA or passion for innovation.

Our team is growing, and our beers are enjoyed in every corner of French-speaking Switzerland, but our mission remains unchanged: to create exceptional craft beers that are the pride of the French-speaking Swiss.
