On the palate, it's a true caress: silky, round, and airy. Dry hopping with Mosaic delivers an explosion of tropical flavors with pronounced notes of mango, pineapple, and passion fruit. This juicy, hazy beer perfectly embodies the New England IPA style, with its velvety texture and lush, exotic aromas.

The true masterstroke of Double Oat lies in its deceptiveness: despite its 8% alcohol content, it goes down with disconcerting, almost dangerous ease. The story

The name "Double Oat" perfectly sums up what makes this beer so special. "Double" refers to its high alcohol content (between 6 and 9%), while "Oat" evokes the generous amount of oat flakes used to give it its characteristic smooth and velvety texture.

Double Oat truly arrived on the Swiss market like a UFO. In 2021, it swept the gold medal at the European Beer Star, one of the world's largest beer competitions, in the "Imperial India Pale Ale" category. More than 2,400 beers from 44 countries were blind-tasted by an international jury of 130 experts – and Double Oat triumphed in a category traditionally dominated by Anglo-Saxon breweries.

This gold medal makes La Nébuleuse the first and only brewery from French-speaking Switzerland to win gold in this prestigious competition since its inception in 2004, placing the beer among the less than 3% of participants awarded. Its smooth mouthfeel and fruity notes quickly won it a following of aficionados – including people who didn't like beer before trying it!
