A name inspired by prohibition and our clandestine beginnings

The nameSpeakeasyrefers to the hidden bars that proliferated in the United States during Prohibition, secret places where people came to enjoy alcoholic beverages away from prying eyes.

A nod to our beginnings, when we brewed our first beers in a discreet basement in the Flon district of Lausanne.
